You'll Find The Best Guys In The Friend Zone!
That's a promise!
Before you scroll down this article because of my controversial statement, hear me out. A good match is essentially someone that could be a friend + sexual chemistry, with time, it could turn into love. These two pillars: friendship and sexual chemistry are what keep you connected, however when sexual chemistry fails you become friends. When friendship fails, you might become fuck buddies and that becomes complicated. So what happens when the guy has been put in the friend zone? I mean, he is still a great guy but for whatever reason you didn't have a chemical reaction that consists of sexual chemistry. Is it possible that your friend zone is someone else's love zone? I think so....
Here is the story of the FFL spiderweb effect: rewind back to spring 2024, two young women attended an FFL event, who quickly became friends, let's call them Nadia and Zoe. They enjoyed their time but I don't believe they had a match. Fast forward a few months later, these two ladies decided to attend another FFL event together. Nadia, also, tells her other friend Tom to buy a ticket to the same event. Tom had a few matches that night and ended up in a relationship with one of them. It's safe to say that it wasn't Nadia, since he was already in her friend zone, but it seems like Nadia's friend zone was Zoe's love zone. Hence, Tom and Zoe started dating exclusively. This type of coupling happens a lot, we've heard so many times how a friend of a friend started dating, but I wanted to illustrate the importance of making friendship connections as well as relationship connections. In my opinion, Zoe's most important connection was becoming friends with Nadia, even though meeting Tom was the end goal I believe that the girl's friendship facilitated things, and I can't help but give FFL some props because without us none of this would have happened. Getting into the friend zone, making new friends that you can attend events with is extremely important and it's the key to meeting the right person.
If you are wondering how did we find out about this new relationship, it's because good news spreads fast and leads to new FFL members. Moreover, we are always happy to share our community's success stories.
Finally, this has got me thinking that a Friend Zone Valentine's day event would be the perfect way to share the love! Everyone has to bring a "Friend Zone" man or woman in the hopes of getting matched. It could be someone you met at a previous FFL event, an ex that you are still on good terms with, a real friend etc. Don't be shy to bring someone you met at another social event like Timeleft, Run Club, Eventbrite, whatever works. We will have some single tickets available but the main group of people will be friend zoners. I believe this will be a memorable V-day with great people. Let me know your thoughts and if we should host something like this.
If you are wondering whatever happened to Nadia, don't worry she had a match that night and a date following the event. I don't know if she is still seeing him but I could only send her good vibes and my best wishes.

P.S. We have met many great friend zone guys and we can't wait to pair them up with other great women we've met at our past events. We see so many people that would be perfect for each other but it so hard to get them at the same event at the same time... stay tuned and find out if we managed to get them coupled up.
