About FFL
We are Ansuh and Jenn! Two friends who met while planning a wedding! In 2020, Ansuh was recently engaged and looking for the perfect wedding planner to bring her beautiful wedding to life, and that’s how she found Jenn. After organizing an amazing wedding, we immediately became friends. Fast forward to 2024, we both decided it was time to join forces once again and create magical events together.
Dating in Montreal isn’t always easy. Between endless disappointing swipes on apps and forced conversations in noisy bars, it’s no wonder so many people feel discouraged. But does it really have to be this way? Why not go back to something simpler, more human?
At FFL, we wanted to rethink the way people meet. For us, meeting someone should be a pleasant experience, a moment where you can just be yourself without overthinking. Even if it doesn’t lead to a “match,” the most important thing is that you had a wonderful evening and maybe a new friendship.
Our dinners are a bit like going to a friend’s place. There are shared plates, conversations that flow naturally (thank you, vino!), and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. No pressure, just conversations that feel good and, sometimes, connections that change everything!
We truly believe that love, and even a beautiful friendship, can’t be forced. These special connections often happen when you least expect them; you just have to let yourself be surprised. Here at FFL that’s exactly what we aim to create through our events: no scripts, no pretenses, just a warm environment where you can relax and let yourself be surprised by the people you meet.
